The Canton Audubon Society (CAS) was founded in 1962 and has been a local chapter of the National Audubon Society in Stark, Tuscarawas, Coshocton and Wayne counties since 1981. CAS is an incorporated, nonprofit, 501-c3 organization.
We hold our monthly meetings (September thru May) on the third Wednesday, at 7:00 PM. Meetings are held at

Our meetings are FREE and open to the public. (See the MEETINGS tab for program details.)
Other activities, such as field trips, displays, and speaking engagements are scheduled throughout the year and are publicized through our bimonthly publication Audubon News & Views. (See NEWSLETTER tab for the current issue.)
We concentrate on environmental and conservation related activaties. Our members are offered quality information you can count on. In addition, our friendly and knowledgeable officers are here to answer any questions you may have about our organization.
Whether you need beginner instruction or family activities, we have what you need when you need it. At CAS, our goal is to provide you with an organization that will make you feel like you belong to a group of the highest caliber.

Our Mission --- Canton Audubon Society strives to meet our members’ varied interests in the field of nature. For some, the focus is on birds and animals, for others its on plants, and still others its on waterways and diversities of the land. For all it is an interest to enjoy, to conserve, restore, share with others, and to educate both adults and students.
